About the role
24around is looking for a highly experienced, responsible, and hands-on Head House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a large and luxurious private family home on the island of Ibiza. This live-in position entails managing the entire household team, including the live-in housekeeper and gardener, plus the additional staff, while ensuring the highest standards of organization, cleanliness, and service.
The estate features eight bedrooms, multiple facilities, and extensive landscaped grounds. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of leading by example—both strategically and operationally.
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the in-house staff, gardeners, cleaning staff, and other support personnel
- Overseeing and coordinating all household operations, including cleaning, maintenance, and logistics
- Ensuring seamless hospitality and care for family members and guests
- Managing relationships with suppliers, service providers, and external contractors
- Quality control across all service areas: cleaning, gardening, hosting, and household upkeep
- Maintaining inventory, supplies, and household budgets
- Acting as the primary point of contact for the family and proactively suggesting improvements
- Supporting hands-on when needed in various areas (hospitality, scheduling, guest arrival, etc.)
- Ensuring efficient, structured routines and a calm, well-managed working environment
Requirements
- Several years of experience in a senior role within luxury private households or high-end hospitality
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong organizational talent with a hands-on mentality
- Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is required
- Discretion, reliability, and a professional appearance
- Affinity for high standards of cleanliness, nature, animals, and structured living
- Flexible availability, stress-resilient, and capable of handling peak periods
- Willingness to live on-site and be present full-time
