About the position
For a large family home in Ibiza, 24around is looking for a reliable and experienced couple or two individuals working together to work and live full-time as house managers. The property has 8 bedrooms and various facilities and requires an accurate and organized approach to housekeeping, gardening and management.
The house managers will be responsible for the overall organization, cleaning and daily management of the house, including directing additional staff as needed. Ideally, one of the two candidates is an experienced gardener who will work with the other full-time gardeners to take care of the garden. The house managers will work together with the other helping staff.
Responsibilities
- Complete cleaning and maintenance of the house, grounds and garden
- Daily housekeeping duties and organization
- Hospitality and care of homeowners and guests
- Cleaning management: cleaning & when help is needed, scheduling and directing additional cleaners and serving staff as needed
- Home maintenance and inventory management
- Occasional cooking or chef support
- Willingness to perform additional duties such as chauffeuring or other housekeeping support
- Sporadic babysitting of the family’s children
- Caring for and managing the dogs, and possible future other pets on the property
- Ensuring structured and efficient housekeeping during both busy and quiet periods
- Delivering and accepting packages
- Letting vendors in and managing deliveries
- Grocery shopping
What the family is looking for
- Ideally: A couple or duo looking to be full-time residents, long-term
- Individuals with experience in hospitality or luxury households, preferably in hotels or high-end residences
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for cleaning and order, for nature & for animals
- Flexibility and stress-resistance, as the property is heavily used during peak periods
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Fluent in English, proficiency in Spanish is a must
- Experience or affinity with cooking, gardening or driver services is a plus
