We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper for a single-family home. This role demands a high standard of cleanliness, knowledge of various cleaning methods, and efficiency both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate integrity, confidentiality, and discretion around the family. And will earn between 2500 – 3000 euro per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning, dusting, mopping, and polishing in all rooms;
- Maintain a tidy and organized household environment;
- Clean and sanitize kitchens and bathrooms diligently;
- Manage household waste, including sorting and disposal;
- Assist with laundry tasks as needed;
- Restock household supplies;
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with extra tasks during family holidays;
- Conduct daily inspections and light maintenance of the garden;
- Participate in walking the family’s two small dogs.
Requirements:
- Reside in Amsterdam or nearby;
- Experience with various cleaning methods for different surfaces and materials;
- Discretion in handling household matters;
- Reliability, with references to verify work ethic and capabilities;
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience;
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper storage/disposal;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team;
- Good communication skills
